Jennifer Odom is a civil litigation attorney with a focus on business disputes, complex financial, commercial, and corporate litigation, fiduciary litigation, trust and estate litigation.
Financial and Business Litigation: Ms. Odom litigates matters involving various financial and business disputes, business divorce cases, corporate control disputes, and business valuation. She also represents receivers in actions by the government to take over companies involving Ponzi schemes or fraud.
Fiduciary Litigation: Ms. Odom represents and advises fiduciaries, including executors, administrators, trustees, officers and directors, regarding fulfilling their fiduciary duties while serving in a fiduciary capacity. She represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in defense of claims for breach of fiduciary duty, breach of trust, and in actions for removal.
Consumer Financial Services: Ms. Odom also advises financial institutions on regulatory matters, including the regulation of mortgage loan servicing, compliance with the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and state laws on fair lending and mortgage foreclosure procedures. Ms. Odom assists financial institutions in the development and review of vendor management and compliance programs relating to mortgage and foreclosure issues.
